I fell in love with this song last year after it played at The Bank in Rosebank at DJ Naves’s birthday party, the Naked DJ was on the decks. I remember the whole club going wild and everyone getting on their feet, it was so awesome, still love this song!
I found these pronunciations and thought it was so funny until I read some of the words and realised that I was pronouncing them incorrectly, so I had to share. We have to be able to pronounce the names of some of our favourite designers now don’t we?!
Christian Louboutin (Christian Loo-boo-tahn)
Christian Lacroix (Christian Le-kwah)
Dolce & Gabbana (Dole-chay & Ger-bana)
Donna Karan (Donna Karen)
Gianni Versace (Gee-ya-nee Ver-sa-chee) Givenchy (Jee-von-she)
Jean Paul Gaultier (Zhon Paul Gol-tee-air)
Louis Vuitton (Loo-ee Vui-tong)
Thierry Mugler (Teary Moo-glay)
Yves Saint Laurent (Eve Saint Lor-rong)
There have been some pictures of Felicia Mabuza-Suttle’s daughters wedding that have been doing the rounds on email and they are just beautiful. My white wedding is looming in the near future so I was inspired by these wedding pictures, Chris Munton is a genius! The daughter looks gorgeous, I love her head-piece.
There is no doubt that 2011 was an awesome year for our girl B*, Bonang Matheba and it seems like 2012 is already going in the same direction. If you have not bought the latest issue of Glamour Magazine then and you’re a fan of Bonang, then you better hurry and get yourself a copy. Bonang is going to be part of the Glamour Magazine family for the next few months and she will occupy a DPS where she will be sharing her style tips, trends, the things she loves and the things she hates. I am a fan of Bonang and enjoyed her piece, I can’t wait to see more.
Bonang has also released her PR pictures for 2012, I love the one where she’s wearing the rusty gold head-piece, other than that I think she could have done better with the other pics, they just seem to be missing our B’s usual touch and spark.
